The path to self-confidence starts with you and in this uplifting video you’ll learn 12 ideas to boost your self confidence!
Whether you’re looking to feel more confident at work, in your personal relationships or othewise, I’m excited to share with you some tips and strategies that I’ve learned for boosting self-confidence.
1. Practice positive self-talk
The way that we talk to ourselves can be pretty brutal. Negative self-talk, or the habit of criticizing or doubting yourself, can undermine your confidence and self-esteem.
2. Dress in a way that makes you feel good about yourself
There’s an old saying that you should dress the way that you want to feel. The clothes you wear can have a big impact on how you feel about yourself and the way that you’re perceived.
3. Surround yourself with supportive people
Having friends and family members who believe in you and encourage you can help boost your self-confidence. You should seek out mentors or mastermind groups where you can learn and teach!
4. Take care of your physical health
Exercise, eat well, and get enough sleep to feel good about yourself and your body. Eating a healthy diet and getting enough sleep can also help you feel more energized and positive.
5. Learn a new skill or hobby
Learning something new can give you a sense of accomplishment and boost your confidence in your abilities. One of the big benefits of learning new skill is that it can lead to new and exciting opportunities, plus you can meet great people along the way!
6. Seek feedback from others
Ask for feedback from people you trust and respect to get a better understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement.
7. Learn to say no
Saying no to things that you don’t want to do or that don’t align with your values can help you feel more in control and confident in your decisions.
8. Accept compliments graciously
When someone gives you a compliment, accept it graciously rather than dismissing it or downplaying your achievements. Thank the person who offered it and realize it was said for a reason.
9. Practice mindfulness and gratitude
Focusing on the present moment and being grateful for what you have can help you feel more positive and confident. Being grateful and thankful for what you have will make the journey towards what you want even more exciting.
10.Take risks and try new things
Stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things can help you grow and build confidence in your abilities. If you feel like you’re stuck or in a rut, you’d be surprised at how you’ll feel when you try new things.
11. Develop a growth mindset
A growth mindset is the belief that you can learn and grow through effort and practice. Being open to learning means that you’re open to new opportunities and experiences.
12. Practice self-care
Taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally is important for maintaining your overall well-being and self-confidence. This can include things like exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
Remember, it’s important to be kind to yourself and focus on your strengths and accomplishments! With practice and effort, you can build your self-confidence and feel more capable and empowered. I’d also recommend checking out the book Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins – you can pick it up here:
